Application Process
Applications for use are first-taken/first-served. (Library-use gets priority.) Bookings are taken usually no more than six months in advance. Reservations on an ongoing basis are allowed only if the schedule permits. Groups using the rooms may not arrive earlier than the Library's regular opening time and must be cleaned up and ready to leave when the Library closes.

An adult who is willing to be responsible for the activity and use of room must be present. All cleanup is the responsibility of the group.

A fee for cleanup will be assessed if not done properly. Misuse of a room and/or violation of the use agreement will preclude further use of either room.

Other Important Information
  • The Library is not responsible for injury arising from use of the facility.
  • The Library is not responsible for equipment or other items used by outside groups.
  • The Library staff will provide access to tables and chairs.
  • The Library staff will not set up the room or take down tables and chairs.
  • Parking is available in the lot and on the street.
  • Groups larger than 20 and those staying all day should carpool and park on the street. Parking space in the lot is primarily for short term users.
  • Use of the Library Staff Room is prohibited.
  • Food may be served, however, no smoking or alcoholic beverages are allowed.
  • Reservations may not be transferred to other people or groups.
  • The Library does not automatically schedule forward for ongoing meetings. Each
group must contact the Library when it is time to reschedule.
  • To cancel use, the responsible person or group leader must notify Administration
at 614-486-2954 and all those to attend the meeting.

Note: Three study rooms (with WiFi and dry erase boards) are available for meeting use in our Reference department. However, no reservations are possible: the rooms are "first come, first served" upon arrival.
