Music in the Atrium

Free Concerts in a Gorgeous Space

Relax and have a seat in the Library's Atrium, where you can catch an evening performance, year round. You'll find many great musical styles in this all-ages series, from Celtic to classical, folk to pop.

Here's a list of upcoming shows:

• Grassahol (bluegrass)
  Thursday, January 15, at 7 pm
  This hard-driving bluegrass band plays tunes from Bill Monroe to the present, traditional to newgrass. Don’t miss this terrific band of veteran musicians!
• Theresa Cincione (soprano) SPECIAL ENGAGEMENT!
  Sunday, February 8, at 2 pm
  New York opera singer Theresa Cincione—who has performed at the Metropolitan Opera and the New York City Opera—presents a special program with pianist Edward Bak in our Atrium. Don’t miss this gifted and renowned Grandview native!

• Wonder Team Funkonauts (rock, jazz and funk)
  Thursday, February 12, at 7 pm
  This young band has been making waves around Grandview, playing festivals and civic events. Don’t miss this great five-piece group of Grandview Heights High School students (and one recent graduate) as they play jazz, funk and rock favorites!
• Pasticcio Quartet (classical)
  Thursday, March 12, at 7 pm
  Relax with popular classical works by various composers performed on cello, violin, piano, and flute.
• Big Time Jazz (instrumental)
  Tuesday, April 7, at 7 pm
  The duo of bassist Tony Shepherd (of popular group The Conspiracy Band) and pianist Charles Travis will entertain you with instrumental jazz, light blues and standards.
• Billy Zenn (blues, R&B and rock)
  Thursday, May 7, at 7 pm
  Singer/songwriter Billy Zenn performs his own unique brand of American music—a rich blend of soul, R&B, roots and rock.
