Staff artist Sylvia Thomas shows paintings

Sylvia Thomas, Library staff artist & graphic designer for 25 years, will hold a special exhibition of nearly 40 paintings in the Reference department in September.

Her exhibition Southern Mountains, Northern Lakes features outdoor scenes from North Carolina, New Hampshire, Ohio, and Ontario. Many paintings feature scenes from the Great Smoky Mountains.

Visit the Reference department this month and view these wonderful, colorful paintings!
