Looking for a quiet spot to read or study? Want to reserve a meeting room for your organization? The Grandview Library has many great spaces for public use!
- Study Commons
Large, public space downstairs, with tables & chairs and WiFi Internet access. Ideal for small, quiet, informal meetings. Includes two vending machines. (Formerly the Audiovisual department; AV materials now located in Circulation upstairs.)
- Study Rooms
Three, small enclosed rooms in Reference upstairs, with WiFi and dry erase boards. No reservations are possible: the rooms are "first come, first served" upon arrival.
- Quiet Reading Room
Tucked away in the northwest corner upstairs, with comfortable chairs & couches. Perfect for getting lost in a good book.
- Meeting Room
Features padded chairs, large folding tables, a podium, dry erase boards, pull-down screen, kitchenette with counter & sink, small microwave, and small refrigerator. Capacity: 60-70, with chairs only (or 40-50 around tables). Reservations required. Learn more.
- Conference Room
Features large, conference-style table with chairs and dry erase boards. Capacity: 12. Reservations required. Learn more.
- Youth Computer Room
Small, transparent enclosed space in Youth Services downstairs. Features several computers. Great spot for kids to study, talk, and play games.
- "The Basement"
A space for 7-12 graders downstairs by the Study Commons. Features fun furnishings, books, magazines, audiobooks, computers and special events just for this age group.
- Other Spaces
- Main Atrium downstairs, with tables & chairs and WiFi Internet access
- Reading Room and study tables, upstairs in Reference
- Desks, behind the upstairs Circulation desk
- Chairs in areas throughout the Library
