Saturday's Pumpkin Run goes by Library
The 30th annual Great Pumpkin Run 5K race will take place Saturday, October 25, at 9 am, with the starting line at Oakland Avenue near Grandview Heights High School, on Third Avenue.
Although First Avenue (the Library's street) will not be closed to traffic, it will be restricted from 9-10:30 am. Motorists should expect delays along the race route, which will yield to runners.
Other affected streets:
- Oakland from First to Third (at the northeast corner of the Library)
- Broadview south of First
- Goodale from Broadview to Lincoln
- Lincoln from Goodale to First
- Cambridge from First to Fifth
Applications are available online at www.grandviewheights.org and are also available at the parks office, the Grandview Library and the Front Runner shoe store. Deadline is October 22 for applications dropped off in-person at Grandview Parks & Recreation, 1515 W. Goodale Blvd.
Anyone interested in volunteering should call Marta Durban at 614-481-6203.
Enjoy the Great Pumpkin Run, hosted by the Grandview Parks & Recreation Department!
