Notice of Request for Qualifications for Design Professional Services

The Grandview Heights Public Library requests qualifications from design professionals to serve as the architect of record for permanent improvement projects under a 2021-2024 term agreement with individual projects authorized on a task order basis in the Library’s sole discretion and from others (architects, engineers, landscape architects, and surveyors) to establish a file of prequalified firms to provide services as needed, where the estimated fee is less than $50,000.

Statements of Qualifications will be accepted until 5 pm on September 3, 2021, for the task order architect and on an ongoing basis with no deadline for the file.

AUG 2: Library returns to full hours

Beginning Monday, August 2, the library will be open regular hours.

Drive-Thru Pickup & services inside the library will be available 7 days a week.

Get a library card, browse our collections, use a computer, make photocopies, book a meeting room, and more.

Starting August 2, library hours will be:

  • Monday-Thursday: 10 am-8:30 pm
  • Friday: 10 am-6 pm
  • Saturday: 10 am-5 pm
  • Sunday: 1-5 pm

JOB: Library Associate

The Grandview Heights Public Library is seeking a friendly, technology and customer service-oriented individual for a part-time Library Associate position.

The position provides library services to patrons of all ages. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service, communication, and technology skills, and enjoy working in a fun and busy environment. Some evening and weekend hours required. Starting pay is $13.75 per hour.

AUGUST: Music on the Lawn

* Due to COVID-19 precautions, concerts have been moved to August this year with earlier start/end times. Concerts are normally Tuesdays in June & July from 7:30-8:30 pm.

 

7/20: GHPL Board Meeting

The Grandview Heights Public Library Board of Trustees will hold its regularly-scheduled public meeting at 6 pm in the Meeting Room of the library.

7/6: Voter Registration Deadline for 8/3 Special Elections

Voters throughout Ohio will cast their ballots for local candidates and issues in special elections on August 3, with voter registration due by July 6.

Registered Franklin County voters in the 15th Congressional district will have the opportunity to decide which two candidates will face off in the November General Election to represent the district.
