40th Music on the Lawn

Enjoy live music and summer fun with family & friends on the Grandview Heights Public Library lawn Tuesdays in June & July from 7–8 pm.

Join us for the 40th Annual Music on the Lawn, a special milestone season celebrating four decades of bringing the community together during our annual summer concert series.

Each week features great bands, food trucks, the GHPL PopUp Library, the GHPL Foundation’s Novel Treats cart, and more on the library’s pavilion, lawn, and plaza.

This summer tradition welcomes an average of 5,000 attendees each year and is coordinated by GHPL and Grandview Heights Parks & Recreation.

History Walks: Tree Tour

Discover some of our community’s remarkable trees on a new History Walks tour launching in celebration of Arbor Day 2026!

The Tree Tour is perfect for nature lovers and anyone looking to explore the community from a fresh perspective.

Along the route, participants will learn about the age, species, and unique information about each tree.

This tour was created in partnership with the Grandview Heights Parks and Recreation. Learn more about their Urban Forestry program.

History Walks is presented by GHPL and the  Grandview Heights Marble/Cliff Historical Society. 

The free app offers self-guided walking tours that explore fascinating local history, inspiring landmarks, and notable people in Grandview Heights/Marble Cliff.

    Thursday, March 12, 6:30–7:30 pm
    4-H members Bristol and Blake will introduce several chicken breeds and share how they’re raised.
  • Egg Incubation Viewing & Livestream
    March 12–April 2
    Visit Youth Services or watch the 24/7 livestream to watch our eggs hatch from start to finish!
  • Goodbye, Chicks Story Time
    Thursday, April 2, 6:30–7:30 pm
    4-H members Bristol and Blake return for one more story time as we say goodbye to the chicks before they return to the farm.

Hanging Basket Sale: Order by 4/17

This year, the GHPL Foundation will be selling 10 and 12 inch hanging baskets in various varieties!

All proceeds benefit the library.

  • ORDER DEADLINE: Friday, April 17, 2026
  • PICKUP DATE & TIME: Saturday, May 9, 2026, 10 am-2 pm
  • PICKUP LOCATION: Pavilion on the library lawn

Paper order forms are also available at the library.

Delivery is  available only for Grandview Heights/Marble Cliff for a $5 fee. Deliveries will be made the morning of Saturday, May 9.

40th Music on the Lawn Sponsorships

This summer marks a special milestone—the 40th season of Music on the Lawn, a beloved tradition in Grandview Heights & Marble Cliff—and sponsorship applications are now available!

The outdoor concert series takes place on the library’s pavilion, lawn, and plaza, celebrating four decades of bringing the community together at the Grandview Heights Public Library.

An average of 5,000 people attend the series each year along with food trucks, the GHPL PopUp Library, and more.

The series runs Tuesdays in June & July from 7–8 pm and is coordinated by GHPL and Grandview Heights Parks & Recreation.

Join us in celebrating this special season and help make this summer unforgettable for the entire community!

The sponsorship application deadline is April 15.
