Parade goes by library, affects travel

2015_PopUp_Library_Kevin_Weismann_costumeThe Grandview Heights/Marble Cliff Memorial Day Parade will take place Saturday, May 26, at 10 am.

The parade begins at Cambridge and First Avenues and continues down First Avenue (passing in front of the library) to Oxley Road.

The route will impact access to the library during the morning.

  • Some streets near the library will be closed approximately 9-11:30 am.
  • Access the library from the south or park and cross First Avenue by foot during this time.
  • The parade should be past the library by 10:30 am.

Look for the library in the parade!

  • A patron account won’t be blocked until it has $10.00 on the account and/or an item that is 21 days overdue or 10 overdue items.
  • Items 35 days overdue are marked lost, and a bill for the replacement cost and processing fee is mailed.
