Library events, meeting reservations CANCELLED through April 6

The Grandview Heights Public Library (GHPL) is continuing to take precautions regarding the spread of COVID-19 (also known as coronavirus) to ensure the safety of patrons, staff, and everyone in the community.

While the library currently remains open:

  • GHPL is cancelling all classes, programs, meeting room reservations, and events now through April 6.
  • Toys in Youth Services have been temporarily removed for cleaning and safe storage.
  • Patrons who are ill or at-risk for contracting the virus are asked to avoid visiting the library during this time.

GHPL has increased measures already in place to reduce disease transmission and promote safe health practices, especially during cold and flu season:

  • Hand sanitizing dispensers are available throughout the library and at library service desks.
  • Staff and patrons are encouraged to wash their hands frequently and to avoid touching their faces.
  • Cleaning has been increased at the library, including high-use public areas, surfaces, devices, equipment, and play areas.

GHPL will continue to monitor information about the virus from federal, state, and local health agencies. Updates about library operations will be provided as they become available through library’s websiteenewsletter, and social media.
