Outdoor Return Boxes: Open 24/7

Steps to use our curbside pickup service:

  1. Place holds.
Place holds on physical items by using our online catalog at ghpl.org or call the library at 614-486-2951.
  2. Get notifications.
Once you receive your hold notices, you can come to the library to use our curbside pickup service during scheduled hours.
  3. Return library items in book drops.
Patrons can use only the library book drops to return items. Please return only books, CDs, and DVDs at this time. Returned items will quarantined for a minimum of four days prior to being checked in and made available to other patrons. If you or a member of your household is ill, please do not return items at this time. There are no late fees for overdue library items.
  4. Proceed to one of the curbside pickup parking spaces.
Call a staff person at the phone number provided on the sign.
  5. Wait in your vehicle and unlock your trunk.
A staff person will locate your held items, check them out to you, and deliver them to your vehicle’s trunk. Staff will not be handing library items directly to patrons. Our staff will be wearing masks for your safety; we encourage you to do the same.
