  • Want to participate offline? Call a library staff member at 614-486-2951 to get started.
  • Adults may register for an adult only account, or register yourself and your children. From the account, you will be able to log reading for yourself and your children.

Stop the library between June 1-June 30 to see the prizes in person! Prizes will be on display in the case at the Nonfiction Desk on the second floor. Drawings will take place after the program ends on July 31.

How do I get started? 

  • Desktop: Visit ghpl.readsquared.com.
  • Mobile: Download the free ReadSquared app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  • You will have the option to register yourself and your child(ren) and log reading for everyone from one account.
  • Do you already have an account from participating in previous summer or winter reading challenges? You can use the same account!
  • Looking for a way to keep track of points on paper before you enter them into the app? Print this Points Tracker!

How can kids earn points?

  • Logging their reading
  • Completing our weekly challenges and BINGO board
  • Attending virtual programs. Each program has a “secret code” that can be found in the ReadSquared event calendar. Go to “enter code” and type in the secret code.

What are the prizes?
All participants who complete the program will receive the following prizes:

  • Blank book or journal 
  • “I Read at Grandview Library” bracelet 
  • Coupons to: DK Diner, Dairy Queen, Galaxy Games & Golf, Pure Imagination Chocolatier, Chocolate Café, and Star Beacon

What are the Grand Prizes?
For every 100 points you earn reading, attending programs, or completing challenges, you can purchase a raffle ticket for one of our grand prizes:
